A documentary film that reveals the dirty little secrets of the puppy breeding business. Undercover investigators take you behind the scenes to uncover the truth behind where those cute little puppies come from. Across the midwest we will take you to see firsthand how the breeders treat their golden geese. The parents of the puppies you see in the pet stores are kept their entire lives in tiny cramped cages, wallowing in their own feces and mud. They never feel the grass beneath their feet, nor the touch of a kind hand. Many will go crazy from living in such cramped spaces that they can't even stretch the length of their bodies. They get no medical attention and many live their lives with broken or torn off limbs....and this is just the tip of the iceberg that is their story...
